Sharon is built on the pillars of faith, family, and fellowship. We are a community of believers commissioned by God to serve His people by offering hope to the hopeless, purpose to the lost, and a welcoming church home for all who seek it. Join us weekly for morning worship service at 11:00 a.m. ‘For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.’ — Ephesians 2:10 (NIV).

DEACON ORDINATION/ MEMBER TRANSFER

NEW MEMBER
We joyfully welcome our new sister in Christ, Kim as she transfers her membership and joins our church family. We rejoice in God’s leading and are grateful that He has placed her among us for such a time as this. As members together, we are one body in Christ—called to love, support, and encourage one another as we grow in faith and serve according to His purpose.
As Scripture reminds us:
“Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.”
1 Corinthians 12:27 (NIV)
It is our prayer that she feels embraced, strengthened, and spiritually nurtured within this body of believers. We look forward to walking alongside her in fellowship, worship, and service as we continue to grow together in Christ.
DEACON ORDINATION
We joyfully affirm Sharon’s commitment to honoring the call of God on his life. When God appoints one to serve His people, that calling is carried out with dignity, humility, and honor. As deacons, we are entrusted to be the hands and feet of church leadership—faithfully stewarding the practical and logistical responsibilities of ministry so that our pastors and elders may devote themselves fully to prayer, teaching, and spiritual guidance. Through this sacred service, the church is strengthened, functions effectively, and is better equipped to care for every member of the body.
As Scripture reminds us:
“Brothers and sisters, choose seven men from among you who are known to be full of the Spirit and wisdom… We will turn this responsibility over to them and will give our attention to prayer and the ministry of the word.”
Acts 6:3–4 (NIV)
We thank God for Sharon’s willingness to serve and confidently celebrate this appointment, trusting that his service will be a blessing to the church and a reflection of Christ’s love in action.

Prison Ministry Spotlight
Our mission is to embrace and encourage the lives of the men in our community. Sharon is committed to sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ to every man and women by any means necessary. Elder John Winston Sr. Prison Ministry leader will continue partnership with Douglas County East Nebraska Correction Center as he envisions to give hope and spiritual healing to the men incarcerated this holiday season.
